Sun’s out, nails out. But this summer? It’s black that’s stealing the spotlight. Not just moody or mysterious – black summer nails that pop in 2025 are sleek, bold and ridiculously photogenic. And whether you’re lounging by the pool, sipping rosé on a rooftop, or just vibing with your everyday glam, a black mani can be anything but basic.

So, what is that element that makes a summer nail design pop from a sea of brights and nudes? It’s contrast. It’s mood. It’s confidence. Below, I’m taking you through trendy decorating concepts that combine matte finishes, electric accents, and fierce art with this classic color—all inspired by a gallery of inspo. Let’s get into it.

Matte Black French Tips with Neon Edges

There’s something effortlessly cool about this square-shaped set. The velvety matte black base is smoothed, but sharpened, by razor-fine neon tips: lime, fuchsia, cyan – each nail showing off its own pop. It’s subtle until it isn’t. It is one of those stylish, cutting edge designs that short lovers will drool over. The juxtaposition of the soft matte finish and those electric lines is quite literally chef’s kiss.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Matte Black French Tips with Neon Edges
Inspo acrylic set of this type, I typically begin with a base such as OPI’s “Black Onyx” in matte. Then, for the neon tip? The Gel Bottle’s “Lime Punch”, “Hot Pink” and “Electric Blue” gel liners are so pigmented and glide on like a dream. Apply that crisp edge using a square tip brush.

To replicate this at home ensure your nails are filed to a clean square shape. Apply a matte black base in two coats. After being completely dry, take your neon gel polish and outline the tips using a fine detail brush. End with a matte top coat to prevent the look from being shiny and outdated – no shine here. Remember to cure in between layers if you’re using gel.

For every person who asked me about this design whenever I wore it, I’d at least have enough for a fancy cold brew if I had a dollar for each. There’s something so strong about wearing black in summer – it’s surprising, but when combined with neon? It’s pure aesthetic magic. And yes, it looks amazing holding a margarita.

Lime Lightning Bolt Half-Gloss Contrast

Okay, but how fun is this? We’re talking matte black base and a racing stripe of high gloss lime. It’s asymmetry done right—slick, striking, and totally unexpected. This look is your average mani’s cool older sister. There’s movement in it, and that’s why it stands out in the world of black summer nails that pop in 2025.

If you’re into long nails and want something that shouts trendy inspo acrylic, this combo of matte and shine is just right. You’ll need both matte and glossy top coats, a high pigment black like Essie’s “Licorice” and a neon green – think “Kiwi Cool-Ada” from ORLY.

When I did this look last August I used tape to create the split and applied the gloss green down one side. It’s not as easy as a French tip, but it’s so worth it. A striping brush is the difference if you are after that razor sharpness. Pro tip from celebrity manicurist Betina Goldstein: always clean your cuticles with a flat brush dipped in acetone for that ultra clean edge.

This one has me feeling like I’m going into a rooftop bar in Brooklyn with my oversized sunnies on and pretending I’m in a music video. Honestly? I kind of am.

Sunflower Sketches on Matte Black

Florals? For summer? Still groundbreaking—when done like this. These black matte nails blossom with hand painted sunflowers that seem to have come from a vintage botanical sketchbook. The yellow petals and the fine leaves are little pockets of happiness against the dark ground. This set shouts art, inspo and summer design ideas all at once.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Sunflower Sketches on Matte Black
To give this look a life, I’d go for a black matte polish from Zoya’s Naked Manicure line for velvety finish. Then use a fine nail art brush with such colors as “Sunbeam”, “Sprout” from Nailtopia. You might also want to consider press-ons if freehand art isn’t your thing, there are some gorgeous Etsy options with similar looks.

The secret to nailing florals is layering: sketch in the petals first and then add color laying on the color in soft strokes. A matte topcoat keeps it all grounded and artful. If you are working with gel, attempt to cure each flower individually so that you don’t get smudges.

I had something like that last summer on a trip to Napa, and it strangely was self-care. Like, having flowers literally at your fingertips will remind you to slow down, breathe, and perhaps schedule that facial you’ve been putting off.

Neon Racing Stripes on Almond Matte

We’ve entered high-speed glam territory. These short almond nails are giving motorsport chic with a matte black base and sharp neon green and orange racing stripes. It’s a combination of sleek and sporty, but not too much attitude. You are in your lane if you love simple, modern designs short that pack a punch.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Neon Racing Stripes on Almond Matte
Right here, I’d use OPI’s “Never Have Too Mani Friends” for the base and Bio Seaweed Gel’s “Dayglow” for the neon lines. These shades really do perform on opacity which is essential when layering over black. A thin striping brush or nail tape will assist you to achieve those perfect parallel lines.

This one’s pretty straightforward: base, dry, tape, stripe, cure, topcoat. But the key is symmetry. Even if you’re doing an abstract layout, you want the nails to look balanced. I’ve discovered that doing one neon nail per hand also works great if you want something less commitment.

When I put these on, I’m convinced I should be in a Fast & Furious reboot. They’re fun, graphic, and ooze that main character vibe we all secretly want sometimes.

Flame-Tipped Neon on Gloss Black

When flames collide with gloss and neon collides with noir, it’s pure. This is probably the most audacious of the lot – multicolored flames on a super glossy black base. It’s giving rave energy, retro heat, and high-glam drama in one. Certainly a star in the hip inspo acrylic sets of the day.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Flame-Tipped Neon on Gloss Black
To do that kind of art, I would recommend using a glossy black gel base such as LeChat’s “Black Velvet” and then layering it with neon gel paints in pink, yellow, orange, purple and lime. There are brands such as Beetles and Makartt with kits that will make this so super easy at home.

Flame designs require patience and a very thin brush. First, do the curves of the shape of the flame, then fling the tips. And always cure between colors to prevent bleeding. The glow effect is most effective when you mix two neon tones into one flame – that’s where the drama is.

My friend wore these to a summer festival and actually had three people ask her where she had them done. It’s a vibe that goes “I’m here, I’m lit, and yes, these are my real nails”.

Glossed Banana Moons with Jet-Black Frames

This design is perfectly in the middle of retro pop art and ultra-modern glam. Half moons tumble in a deep banana yellow over a sheer nude base covered by a glossy inky-black border that provides major architecture with energy. It’s giving graphic elegance with a playful wink—classy, but never boring. These long acrylic sets seriously pop.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Glossed Banana Moons with Jet-Black Frames
To achieve such a daring, yet wearable design one of my options would be to start with a base coat that is nude-toned, like a famous Essie brand – “Ballet Slippers”. Then I’d apply “Mellow Yellow” from Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri range for that citrus arc and edge it with CND Shellac “Black Pool” to give that glass-like jet effect.

This one takes some patience and tape. Once you have applied your nude base, then apply a circular sticker or guide to give you that half-moon shape. Use yellow, allow it to dry then follow the curve with black to frame it as a painting. It’s detail-oriented but surprisingly therapeutic.

I had something similar on for a gallery opening last summer and someone actually asked if they were decals. Nope. Just steady hands and a second coffee. If you want something wearable but high-impact? This is a yes.

Silver Webbing Over Smoky Black

The drama here is real. Under intricate webs of metallic silver there is a soft black jelly base, like lace from moonlight. It’s haunting in the best way. These are the sophisticated, high standing glitter designs that will take your summer night-out outfit to another level. Think rooftop drinks or even midnight beach wedding look.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Silver Webbing Over Smoky Black
For materials you’ll need a semi-transparent black polish – Zoya’s “Tieran” is perfect – and a silver glitter gel liner like “Starry Night” by Born Pretty. You can also dust ultra fine loose glitter over a tacky layer for more texture.

I normally freehand the web design with a super thin liner brush beginning from the outer edge and crisscrossing towards the center. Cure after each section if you’re using gel. Nail pro Tom Bachik always says, “The more delicate the line, the more luxurious the look” and I agree – especially here.

It’s a one of those trendy summer looks that for some reason seem eternal. When the light hits it just right? Absolute magic.

Pixel Dino Throwback in Matte Monochrome

Here’s one for the girls who like a little bit of internet nostalgia. The matte black base is heavy summer goth energy, while the white pixel art of dinosaurs, cacti and glitches offers fun contrast. It’s like those middle school notebook doodles got a glow up – and yes, I love it.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Pixel Dino Throwback in Matte Monochrome
You’ll need a good matte black and white combination – ORLY’s “Liquid Vinyl” with their Matte Topcoat, stamping plates or decals if you’re not a freehand fan. The sharp lines make this one scream designs short and I love the way graphic it is.

If you’re feeling bold, paint each icon by hand using a square-tip brush. Otherwise, stamping kit with a pixel art plate saves serious time. Wait until your nails are completely dry before you can apply matte topcoat to maintain the look clean and crisp.

When I first wore this look to a coding meetup (yes, I’m that girl), someone said my nails looked like retro video game merch. I took that as a compliment. It’s quirky, bold and completely unexpected for summer – but that’s exactly the idea.

Black and White Paint Splatter Drama

This one’s not just art—it’s attitude. These black summer nails that pop in 2025 turn up the contrast with the random chaotic splashes of black on white and vice versa. It’s giving “accidentally perfect,” Jackson Pollock with a street style twist. And frankly, it’s one of the easiest looks to try at home with easy inspo that has edge.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Black and White Paint Splatter Drama
Any glossy black and white polishes will do, think Sally Hansen’s “Black Out” and “White On”. I always suggest a dotting tool, an old toothbrush, or even fine straw for the splatter. The messier, the better here.

Lay down a base first (black or white), then flick or drop your contrast color on top. Use a small fan brush for a streaky effect. Just be sure to tape around your nails if you’re going full splatter, it gets everywhere.

I had a whim one summer afternoon and tried this design and ended up recreating it for a styled shoot. It’s so on trend, so fun and it really makes people do a double take.

Fiery Lava Flames on Nude Fade

This one’s straight-up hot. Bold orange-to-red flames lap a glossy nude base ending in a fierce black tip. All these nails are about movement, heat, and full-on inspiration. The playful black dots randomly placed around add precisely the extra that it needs. Total standout in any long acrylic sets lineup.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Fiery Lava Flames on Nude Fade
You’ll need a nude-pink builder gel, black polish and highly pigmented neon orange and red gel paints. The flames appear best if you hand paint them with a thin brush where you are able to control the curve and flick of each tongue of fire.

Start with your nude base. Then stack flames up with orange first, then red, then black tips to root it. Use a dotting tool to add black dots for contrast, and a little bit of cartoonish appeal. Cure after each color to keep the layers clean.

I love the fact that this set is a classic flame tattoo and a summer bonfire. It’s wild, it’s cute and very red and black aesthetic. If you’re feeling bold, this is your summer nail.

Minimal Matte with a Neon Heart Accent

This is the sort of look that creeps up on you – soft, quiet but full of character. With a jet-black matte base, chic mystery, and a single nail has a bright pink heart on a hook. It’s giving flirty-meets-edgy energy. One of those little, simple groups that say so much without shouting. Honestly? It’s one of my favorite designs short this year.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Minimal Matte with a Neon Heart Accent
I always grab “Matte Black” by Luxio for that perfect velvet finish, then a neon pigment or pink stamping polish for the heart- “Pink Wink” by Twinkled T. You can actually use a nail vinyl to achieve that graphic pop perfect.

This look is so beginner-friendly. Just apply two coats of matte black polish and finish with matte topcoat. When it’s dry, stick your heart decal or hand paint the shape with a detail brush. Seal that nail with a semi-matte finish for a little contrast if you’re looking for some dimension.

When I wore this on a casual summer date, the guy noticed right away – and let’s just say, he wasn’t a nail-art fan. The little pink heart really pops against black. It’s a tiny detail, but it says a lot.

All-Black Textured Embossed Florals

Matte, moody and mysteriously detailed – this full-black set is right out of a gothic garden dream. The high floral and leaf embossing gives it a luxe, couture feel but it’s still wearable for everyday summer slay. If you’re into sophisticated but trendy ideas that are a little bit unexpected, this set is your next manicure appointment.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - All-Black Textured Embossed Florals
This look is usually sculpted with 3D gel – try “Blooming Gel” from Born Pretty for raised texture, or use builder gel to create embossed petals and leaves and then top with matte top coat. You’ll also need a dotting tool and silicone brush for shaping.

Start with a full matte black base. Use your 3D gel to sketch each component – leaves, vines, petals, and flash cure as you proceed. Once everything is, layer with a clear matte topcoat to keep everything perfectly chic. The dimension stays, but the shine chills out.

I did something like this for a black tie occasion and felt my nails were in their own designer gowns. They reflect the light without glitter, and turn heads without noise. Luxury in silence, honestly.

Lime Splatter Gloss Tips

Warning: these nails are not for the shy. They’re messy, bold, and absolutely scream confidence. Glossy black is the base here, with bright emerald green-lime splatters which look like abstract summer paint strokes. You get that juicy pop of color with a little chaos – just what you want in a summer acrylic set that’s more art than accessory.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Lime Splatter Gloss Tips
Pick a highly pigmented lime gel, such as “Electric Lime” from Beetles and apply it in a flicking or splatter technique. I adore combining it with “Black Hole” by Madam Glam for that super glossy base which makes the lime almost glow.

This can be achieved using a stiff bristled brush, an old toothbrush or a dotting tool. After your base is dry, splatter the neon polish to the tips. Add a couple of dots as accent and finalize with a gel topcoat to lock that shine.

Wore these to a beach party last July, and literally the only thing that survived the sand, ocean, and cocktails. They feel wild and creative without being too over-the-top. Highly recommend for your next design idea craving.

Neon Lightning Bolts on Jet Black

If Barbie were a rockstar? These would be her summer nails. A shiny black almond base is lit up with jagged, hot pink lightning bolts that slice right through the drama. It’s graphic, glam, and absolutely trendy inspo acrylic territory. I love the energy and the motion here – it makes your hands tingle.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Neon Lightning Bolts on Jet Black
If you want this effect, choose a pigmented hot pink such as “Shocking Pink” by DND. Use a super fine detail brush or lightning shaped nail stickers for that clean zigzag. Finish it off with a glassy gel finish to make the bolts pop out.

This set is best done in layers. Start with a base coat, then black polish. Cure fully. Paint your lightning with light pink, cure, outline with hot pink for that neon effect. Seal with a no-wipe top coat.

I killed this look at a concert in Chicago last summer and I swear the lightning bolts came to life under the stage lights. It’s daring, a bit retro and oozing with main character energy.

Red-Tipped Glossy Black Daggers

Let’s talk power. These stiletto nails offer you classic red and black but in the most minimal, lethal way. Glossy black extends almost the entire nail and finishes in a sharp, red French tip. If “Don’t mess with me” was a manicure, this would be it. Iconic, classy, and full-on femme fatale vibes.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 - Red-Tipped Glossy Black Daggers
For this, I’m a fan of “Big Apple Red” by OPI with “Black Onyx”. Use nail guides for a super sharp red tip, or freehand it if you’ve got the skills (or caffeine). Top with a gloss topcoat to keep it dangerously shiny.

Apply two coats of black, let it dry, use a fine liner brush or tip guides to paint on the red triangle tips. Just make sure the lines are clean – it’s what makes the whole thing look professional even if you did it in your kitchen.

These Bond villainess nails inspired by the French make me feel like a Bond villainess in the best way. Understated in color, but maxed out in impact. They’re timeless, sexy, and somehow go with literally everything.

Cherry Noir Drama with a Stiletto Edge

This nail design is all about unapologetic power. Long, sharp stiletto tips adopt a two tone effect combining seductive wine-red with the depth of onyx black. The contrasting shades give it a high contrast rhythm that’s half vampy and half luxurious. You don’t need shimmer or glitter here – the glassy gloss finish does all the talking. It’s bold, it’s beautiful, and honestly? It appears as if it were something worn on a red carpet at a midnight gala. If you’re after Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025, this is your call to go all in on that high-drama aesthetic.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Cherry Noir Drama with a Stiletto Edge
I’ve duplicated this long acrylic look with OPI’s “We the Female” and “Black Onyx” and a high gloss topcoat from Seche Vite. You’re going to need gel polish for that super-smooth lacquered look, and a good nail shape or press-on base to shape those stiletto tips into perfection.

In order to do this at home, begin with clean and prepped nails and apply a sculpting form. If you’re using acrylic, build your base with a clear or natural tone, then cure. Layer up your red and black gel polishes switching fingers for that checkerboard feel. Top it all with a top coat and cure again. In an Allure interview, celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik once said, “Shape is what makes a statement before color even speaks”. So lean into the silhouette.

This one takes me back to my best friend’s birthday dinner at a rooftop bar. She came in with nails like this and I swear heads turned. It’s that kind of classy villain-era glam that tells you’re in charge, even if the dress code says otherwise.

Botanical Whisper on Nude and Ink

There’s just something so chic about black and nude, especially when a little leafy pattern softens it. This manicure is a whispered secret — soft and graphic, minimalist with a lot of character. The black nails add depth, the sheer blush base allows the nail art to bloom as fine line tattoos on skin. If you’re into sophisticated, low-effort beauty with edge, this is one of those design ideas that gets stuck in your head.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Botanical Whisper on Nude and Ink
For that seamless contrast I would recommend using “Licorice” from Essie for the black and “Mademoiselle” for the base. You can use a super fine nail brush, or even a stamping plate for the botanical details. A matte top coat on the black and a glossy finish over the nude has a mixed-texture effect that’s major right now.

The trickiest part is the branch detailing. I use a dotting tool loaded with gel polish to make small buds and then use a micro brush to connect the stems. It’s like doing your own little vine tattoo — meditative and worth it.

This inspo short look is perfect for days when you want to wear linen everything, sip matcha, and pretend you’re in a Nancy Meyers movie. It feels quiet, romantic, but still a little wild.

Mocha Love and Minimalist Hearts

There is a kind of sweetness to this simple design, especially when combined with glossy chocolate tones. Alternating deep mocha and soft blush nails are nostalgic but classy – the adult version of your first love note. The skinny heart outlines are so gentle, but so deliberate. This is one of those in vogue short nail designs that looks fab with everything from a sharp white tee to your loosest summer dress.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Mocha Love and Minimalist Hearts
I’m a fan of Olive & June’s “CNH” (Coffee, Not Hot) for that luscious brown and “GH” (Glowy Heaven) for the soft pink. Use a super fine detailing pen or a toothpick for the outline of the heart – less is more here.

You don’t need a pro setup. Paint the base coats, let it dry completely and then draw the heart in slow light strokes. Add a dot where heart arch should be then connect them down. Finish with a topcoat to seal it in.

One of my colleagues was wearing this look to a wedding and received more compliments on her nails than her dress. There’s just something about hearts that hits every time — especially when they’re not too obvious.

Monochrome Palms and Summer Cool

Tell me this doesn’t give vacation vibes. Matte black nails take any look up a notch but with a clean white accent nail and a palm tree sketch? We’re suddenly in Miami at sunset. It’s a little wink to the season, graphic but not shouty, and one of my favorite black summer nails that pop in 2025 — especially if you like your nails a little moody but still fun.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Monochrome Palms and Summer Cool
To copy this, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in “Blacky O” for the matte black and “Get Mod” for the white. Use a quick-dry matte topcoat for that velvet finish. A thin brush and black stamping gel will assist to draw out the palm design with accuracy.

You don’t have to be on an island vacation to wear this design – just a mood board and some SPF. Minimalism is definitely coming back for summer 2025 in nail art. “monochrome nails are the new French tip — timeless, polished, and totally adaptable” according to Harper’s Bazaar.

I had a similar set on last July when I couldn’t take a vacation – but every time I looked at my nails, I felt like I had. That’s the power of a good aesthetic.

Celestial Matte Constellations

This one’s for the dreamers and night owls. Matte black becomes a star gazing canvas, with little white constellations scattered like galaxies across your nails. It’s playful, but chic and definitely one of the most creative black summer nails that pop in 2025 if you’re into astrology, fantasy, or just want something different that still feels wearable.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Celestial Matte Constellations
You’ll need a deep matte black, such as Zoya’s “Dovima” and a white gel pen or stamping plate for the constellations. I love to use Dotting Tools to achieve the starry finish. Top everything with a no-shine topcoat for the soft-space effect.

The process is like painting your zodiac chart. Start with a matte black base. Once dry, add tiny stars using a white pen. Relate to soft lines to create constellations – Leo, Gemini, Virgo, or just do it freestyle. It’s totally your sky.

People always stop me to ask how I did this when I wear matte designs like this. They’re not complicated in palette, but magical in mood – like little secrets sitting on your fingertips.

Velvet Love: Matte Romance in Red and Black

This style combines matte minimalism and high impact symbolism in one of the most daring love stories of the season. We’re talking rich, velvety black with glossy accents and bold red hearts that won’t be ignored. We have duality here – fierce and soft, passionate and cool. It’s got the summer love vibe that comes quickly and stays long. These are the sort of nail sets that make a basic iced latte run a moment.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Velvet Love: Matte Romance in Red and Black
To achieve this I used Beetles Gel Polish in “Velvet Black” for the matte, “Cherry Amour” for the red and the shiny top coat. You’ll need both matte and gloss topcoats to get that delicious contrast. The hearts can be hand drawn using a dotting tool or nail art pen or applied with vinyl stencils if you need accuracy.

There’s no way around it here – begin with buffed, filed square or coffin-shaped acrylic nails. Apply your base coats, switch between matte and gloss and then draw or stamp in your heart designs. Seal with topcoat (or two — matte on matte, gloss on gloss). Nail educator Julie Kandalec always says that “contrast is what makes minimal designs feel intentional” and I couldn’t agree more.

These nails are something I would wear to a jazz bar with someone I’m not sure I should trust. Mysterious, daring and just romantic enough to make an impression.

Gold-Dusted Drama Tips

This manicure is all drama and it is good. Long almond nails are a deep black French tips that fade from natural pink into deep black, dusted with molten glitter foil that is like sunlight catching waves. It’s like black-tie gala met summer nights in Mykonos. Luxe, edgy, and undeniably elegant, this design is a shout out for high fashion with a whisper of rebellion.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Gold-Dusted Drama Tips
This one’s all about layering: I used Madame Glam’s “Perfect Black” and “Natural Sheer” with flakes of gold leaf pressed in while the polish is tacky. Cap it off with a builder gel overlay, to smoothen the texture, and give it the high-shine glaze.

Apply a nude gel base and apply a French guide or paint freehand and build out black tips. Before curing, press in small flakes of gold foil on the edge of the black and fade to the center. Cure, seal, done. Celebrity manicurist Mei Kawajiri told Vogue “foils work best when not overthought — place them like you’d sprinkle sea salt over a dish,” and that’s the best way I can describe it.

I only wore this once with a basic slip dress and I instantly felt like I’d reserved a VIP booth at the swankiest rooftop in NYC. It’s luxe, but not so much that you can’t wear it; it’s bold, but not shouting. That balance? Chef’s kiss.

Glitter-Dipped Barbiecore French

Barbiecore isn’t going anywhere this year and this aesthetic look combines the playful pink energy with edgy matte black to create one of my favorite inspo acrylic styles this summer. We’re seeing a reimagined French — short to mid-length square nails covered in jet matte with high-shine, glitter-packed pink tips that shine like disco lights. It’s fun, flirty and has “night out in Malibu” energy.

Black Summer Nails That Pop in 2025 Glitter-Dipped Barbiecore French
To get the perfect balance I applied Kiara Sky’s “Matte Blackout” and blended two glitters – “Rose Parade” and “Pink Disco” – for the tips. Sculpted acrylic bases provide you with the cleanest shape, but a press on set with pre-designed tips will do just as well.

Use your matte polish first and completely cure. Then use a fine liner brush to apply your glitter polish to the tip or use a sponge for dense color. Smile line is to be cleaned with acetone and a thin brush for that crisp curve. Then top up with glitter topcoat to set the glow.

One of my cousins wore these to a summer bachelorette party and didn’t stop receiving compliments. They’re young but grown up – like pink drinks and gold straws and a little drama on the side.

If you are team glitter, team graphic or living for that classy black-and-red French combo, these black summer nail designs are evidence that dark polish doesn’t go on holiday – it changes. Summer 2025 is about contrast, confidence and a little bit of fun with your fingertips. Just do it, screenshot your fave, text your nail tech, or DIY something fresh. Your next mani moment is right here and it’s anything but basic.
